Lady Gaga´s "Hair" is at "The Edge Of Glory".

The release of Lady Gaga´s album "Born This Way" is almost here and the tracks are hitting the web, now we are able to have an idea of  how the album is going to sound like, this two new tracks "Hair" and "The Edge Of Glory" continue to be on the same trend of music that we are hearing from everyone, but they have something in comon, is a sound that i haven´t heard in years (a sax).

Lets start with "The Edge Of Glory", i´m not going to deny that has a catchy lyric, the beat is not that bad, but i feel like i´ve heard this before, is too much of a Dance-Club-record and the sax it takes me to a bad old school song.

Listen.

We can expect  anything from Gaga, but when a song talks about her "Hair", it makes me wonder, how egocentric is she?, and the fact that she sings "I just wanna be free, I just wanna be me" to make it more appealing and  "I am hair" makes this song a completely mess, also again the sax .... come on!.

Listen.

At the end of the day this album is going to be a succes maybe not because it deserves to be, but just for the fact that she has a lot of ¨litte monsters¨.

Lady Gaga is in love with "Judas".

So just in time for the Holy week, Gaga has decided to premiere her second single "Judas", so long the lyric has created a lot of buzz, maybe the video will have the same effect.

This song, has a very dark, hunting and hard sound, with a catchy hook and chorus, in my opinion is  reminiscent to "Bad Romance", every time i hear this new song, is almost as if i'm committing a sin, i think i might start thinking and feeling different about Gaga, has you might know i'm not a huge fan of hers and i'm not going crazy over this new track but i'am sure about one thing and is that her fans will support this no matter what and that at the end we will all end up liking it!.

Ready to Commit a Sin.

Was Lady Gaga "Born This Way" ?.

When I first heard Lady Gaga, back in 2008 with her 1st single "Just Dance" i knew it was going to become a hit ... and guess what? it did. After "Poker Face" becoming a hit too,  it make me realize that this girl would become a force in Pop music, but for some how it seems that we have been attracted more to her life style than her music, or the fact that her music and videos have become her life style.

For a while now, there has been a hype over the release of her new single "Born This Way", a supposed anthem for all different people, she sings about "Lesbians, Gays, White, Black, Drags, Etc" been born that way (Not sure about the Drags), but anyway more than a political statement or anthem, i think that is all about selling records, just because for me it felt short and empty, the production of the song, the tempo and even the lyrics are not great and doesn't send the essence of the message, it doesn't come thru and it sound like Madonna's "Express Yourself" , if the idea was to make a record like "I Will Survive" or in the lines of "Beautiful", then it is a complete failure.

I'm not a huge fan of Gaga, but i appreciate her first records like "Just Dance", "Poker Face", "Bad Romance" but this one doesn't live up to the expectations .... What do you think? Is it a Madonna Rip-Off? Did the hype overshadowed the song? or Did Lady Gaga raised bar to high?.

Listen you be the Judge.
